Two Direct Founder Messages, No Inferred Decisions
The day included two direct, self-contained founder decision messages that qualified for inclusion. That count provides context only; it is not itself a decision. No additional decisions were inferred from summaries or outcomes, and no decision events are assigned to this section.
Storytelling and Reporting Instructions, Not Verified Outcomes
Two founder decisions were recorded on August 9, 2026. The first concerned policy: “we need some story telling in it the outline must be anot make the system look bad”. The decision extends only to that direct instruction. No broader authority was established.
The second was an operating instruction: “make sure that the product and store operator when he finish a product update beised achievements he reports in this thread [internal ID redacted]”. Here, too, the scope is limited to the founder’s direct wording, with no broader authority inferred.
Each decision came from a self-contained direct founder message and was recorded as decided. Neither record establishes that the instructed work occurred or that any resulting outcome was verified. Corroborating evidence was not evaluated for either decision, and no supersession or reversal was established for either.
Both records remain internal drafts, neither published nor scheduled. Deterministic public-safety redaction was applied to both.
What Does Not Establish a Founder Decision
Material can preserve context or describe activity without establishing a founder decision. Conversation summaries, recaps, Daily Reports, Build Notes, previous Founder Decisions documents, indexes, caches, assistant and worker summaries, achievements, and failures are excluded as substantive evidence of decisions. Under the criteria applied here, they do not stand on their own as decision records. Excluding them does not make related material a decision either.
The same distinction applies to ambiguous approvals, questions, proposals, status updates, repeated confirmations, inferred preferences, and other messages that cannot stand on their own. These do not establish a qualifying founder decision without sufficiently explicit, self-contained evidence.
That exclusion has a narrow meaning. It does not establish that the underlying material was false or unimportant, nor does it establish implementation, verification, publication, or supersession.
Archive Review Scope and Evidence Limits
The review for August 9, 2026 covered the available raw founder-message material in the retained Discord and CLI archives. Two qualifying direct founder messages were retained. That is a count of messages retained from the inspection, not a count of decisions.
Each retained message was assigned a consistent identifier derived from its source timestamp and exact wording. Those identifiers, raw paths, and private routing details are not exposed here. The review establishes only that the material was inspected and the two messages were retained. It does not establish corroboration, implementation, verification, or publication.
